     To the west of Mysore and the east of Kasaragod, along the eastern slopes of the Western ghats, sits the district of Kodagu, or more popularly as it is known, Coorg. This district is one of the richest places in terms of sights. Dotted with rolling hills, waterfalls, resorts, various rivers, historic buildings, parks, and even a riverine island,  Coorg provides a rich variety of enjoyment and merriness. Everything about the district, from its climate to its inhabitants is just perfect. Though Coorg is nourished by various rivers, the main river in the region is Kaveri, which rises at TalaKaveri, located in Kodagu itself. Rated as one of the top hill destinations in India, Coorg has a pleasant weather throughout the year, but the best time to visit is between October to March, as it has the ideal weather to get the classical Coorg experience. The place is simply mesmerizing at this time of the year. It is a must visit place for couples, adventurers and people trying to take a break

  Among the mountains of Himachal Pradesh, where the Beas river creates the Kullu valley, at its northern end sits the town of Manali. Situated in the district of Kullu, Manali is a perfect pocket in the midst of the Himalayas for new experiences and relaxation. Apart from this, Manali is also a hotspot for devotees and architecture lovers due to its immense collection of temples, monasteries and castles and much more establishments well over 3 - 5 centuries old!  Manali experiences a subtropical highland climate ranging from warm summers to relatively - cold winters. Manali is best visited during the summer season from March to June but, if you want to experience what snowfall feels like in Manali, then you should visit between the months of December  and February. The summer season is
